Princess and the frog racist or not?

I don't seem to find any probs with the Maddie person in general I do think that the glow bugs and gator to be a bit too much like the black crows from the old looney tunes cartoons. But that voo doo lady reminds me of suga mama from proud family XD
I'm not saying I have a problem with it, I'm saying people are complaining about the racism in the movie

I don't think it's racist. I'm mixed and I enjoy a lot of Disney films. there's an Arabic Disney princess, Asian Disney princess, Native American princess, and white princesses with black, brown, blonde, and red hair. I think they're doing what they always have in adding a black princess.

the characters in their other films are weird and exaggerated just like the glow bugs and gator, think of Jafar from Aladdin, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, the bad guy from Mulan (I forget his name), and there's always funny small characters like Abu the monkey, Timon and Pumbaa etc. they weren't being racist against white people or asians or black or middle eastern stereotypes in those movies.

you have to remember that people portray their own race in funny ways sometimes too, in asian and black plays and musicals there are funny asian and black characters. and the voice actors are not offended by what they're acting out. they probably have a better perspective of the studios intentions, since they're inside it.
